Day 2 - Bruchim Haba'aim - Welcome to Israel
Arrive at new Ben-Gurion Airport Terminal to be met and assisted by
our representative. Meet your tour guide and bus driver and ascend
to Jerusalem. Proceed directly to the Kotel for minha/ma’ariv. Hotel
check in introduction & orientation Welcome Dinner.

Day 3 - Jerusalem Old City
After breakfast we drive to the old city of Jerusalem. Start with an
In-depth exploration of the Southern Wall Excavations, including a virtual, computerized “walk” through the Beit Hamikdash at the Davidson Center.
Visit the Kotel and the Western Wall (Rabbinical) Tunnels. Going through the
Jewish Quarter we Visit the Burnt House, experience a moving, informative presentation on the destruction of Jerusalem and the second Beit Hamikdash.Tour the Temple Institute where the Book of Leviticus comes to life. See actual replicas of many items that were used in the ancient Temple service Free time for lunch and shopping in the Jewish Quarter We will end the day with a remarkable tour of the City of David, the most ancient section of Jerusalem, built by King David, including new discoveries and the Hezekiah Tunnel - built 2,700 years ago to secure Jerusalem's water supply from invading armies. Return to the hotel. Overnight: Jerusalem
Day 4 Our Patriarchs & Matriarchs
After breakfast we drive to Bethlehem for Tehillim and supplication at Kever Rachel. We continue and Visit Betar, the site of Bar Kokhva’s last stand. We drive to Gush Etzion for home hospitality in Efrat and Alon Shvut. Driving toward the southern Hebron Mountain, we will tour the excavated town of ancient Sussiya. Continue to Hebron, daven ma’ariv at Ma’arat Hamachpela. Return to Jerusalem Free evening in Jerusalem. Overnight: Jerusalem.
Day 5 - Dead Sea and Masada
After breakfast we depart for the drive down to Dead Sea Basin, the lowest point on earth. Visit the excavation site of Qumran and walk through the impressive Dead Sea sect community area and see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1948. Than on to Masada to visit the 2,000 year old mountain fortress built by King Herod – and site of the Jewish zealots’ last stand against the Roman Legionnaires. Enjoy a walk through the beautiful Ein Gedi nature reserve - a lush oasis in the Judean Desert. Optional dip in the Dead Sea (separate beaches) Drive back to Jerusalem to prepare for Shabbat. Kabbalat Shabbat at the Kotel. Shabbat Dinner at the hotel. Overnight: Jerusalem.
Day 6 Shabbat In Jerusalem
Enjoy the special atmosphere of Shabbat in Jerusalem by participating in service at Shabbat services at the Great Synagogue. Shabbat Buffet Lunch at the hotel. Following afternoon rest we will go on a walking tour through some of Jerusalem’s most picturesque historic neighbourhoods. Visit the famous windmill and the first neighbourhood built outside the Old City walls by Sir Moses Montefiore. Mark the conclusion of Shabbat with Havdallah. Free evening in Jerusalem. Overnight: Jerusalem.
Day 7 - Coast line and Northern Israel
Drive north to visit Caesarea, see ancient history come to life at the newly-opened multi-media center, against the backdrop of ancient Caesarea; excavations include an impressive amphitheatre and aqueduct. Visit Beit Shearim and Learn rabbinic texts in small groups by candlelight among the ancient catacombs. Than on to the Lower Galilee to visit the town of Zippori, once home to Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi, see beautiful mosaics and other finds from the time of the Mishna. We will end the day by driving to Lake Kineret for Dinner and overnight in Kibbutz Hotel (Lavi or Kinar) Overnight: Galilee.
Day 8 Tiberia and Lake Kineret
After breakfast visit the grave of the Rambam in Tiberias. Take in a breathtaking view of the area from the site of the grave of Rabbi Akiva and learn some of his Torah on site. After a delightful Lake Kinneret boat ride we continue to a Lakeshore dinner at Decks Steak Restaurant. Overnight: Galilee.
Day 9 - Mishnah and Mysticism
After breakfast we ascend Mount Meron to pay tribute to Rabbi Shimon bar Yohai. Than on to Tzefat for an indepth tour of the synagogues, courtyards, shops, and the grave and mikveh of the Ari z”l in the mystical city of Tzefat. Enjoy klezmer music over lunch in a unique Restaurant in Tzefat. Continue to Acco, visit the new exhibit in the Turkish baths (Hamam) and Daven at the amazing Tunisian Synagogue in Acco. Ascend the summit of Mount Carmel for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Haifa Bay and the western Galilee. Continue to Tel Aviv for a Farewell Dinner. Drive to Ben Gurion Airport for our transatlantic flight back to U.S.
Day 10 - Arrival in the U.S
Arrive this morning and and start planning your next trip to Israel......
