Ein Bokek

No trip to Israel is complete without a trip to the Judean Mountains; more specifically the area of Ein Bokek. Visitors who come to Ein Bokek are amazed by the fact that it is continually Spring all year round (perennial spring). The water in Ein Bokek comes from the rainfall that comes down through the cracks in the limestone. The whole area is covered with reeds and Tamarisk shrub flora, bodies of water and plenty of shade. In addition to the beauty of the nature that surrounds you in Ein Bokek, visitors who travel in Israel can also see the remains of a Byzantine era fortress and what's left of a bath house.
