The sites of miracles that occurred in the Bible are often highly sought after locations to visit on Israel Holy Land tours. The Russian Orthodox Church that marks Tabitha's Tomb is the site where Peter raised Tabitha from the dead (Acts 9:36-43). Located east of Old Jaffa in Abu Kabir, is an obvious landmark that draws attention with its salmon-colored steeple. If you stop by Tabitha's Tomb on your Israel tour make sure that you have a good guide or a good map as the entrance is off of a side lane (Ofer Cohen Street). The inside is a marvel, covered with amazing icons and murals. Services are still held there (Sunday at 7:00 A.M., and most Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 P.M) and are thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who visits.
